DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists with FLIGHT and other Student Affairs programs.
2. Facilitates and identifies programs and activities that build community and support the engagement and success of all students.
3. Coordinates fall and spring International Student Orientation, in conjunction with the International Students and Scholars Support Office.
4. Assists with Adulting 101, a multi-departmental initiative for all students that teaches essential life skills and career-ready competencies
5. Develops and leads international student programs and activities to help students successfully connect with domestic students and culture.
6. Collaborates with internal and external partners to develop and implement educational opportunities focused on academic success, retention, progression, and graduation of KSU’s international students.
7. Manages the daily operations of the Global Village (GV), including social media outlets, supplies, budgets, and space reservations.
8. Coordinates recruitment, training, and supervision of International Peer Leaders and serves as an advisor for International Student Organization.
9. Oversees strategic goal-settings, assessment, and evaluation of GV programs and services.
10. Coordinates use of the Owl Life student engagement software to create and publicize student programs and events, track student participation, and ensure compliance with divisional and university guidelines.
11. Provides support for divisional priorities and initiatives beyond the scope of department, as requested.
12. Supervises student assistants and/or graduate assistant(s), as requested.

Plans and implements program initiatives for the assigned college, department, and/or unit. Participates in the generation of program resources, communication, design and development of operating goals, objectives, and protocols. Serves as primary point for program implementation and operational matters. Provides technical, professional and programmatic guidance, consultation, and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops, plans and coordinates the implementation and execution of programs, special projects, events and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the assigned program(s) and/or department(s)
2. Oversees and administers all facets and activities related to day-to-day operations of the assigned program(s) and/or departments
3. Serves as liaison with internal and external clients on all matters relating to program and/or department activities
4. Provides, administers and/or coordinates the provision of technical guidance, consultation, related support to clientele within area of program focus
5. Assists with forecast projections and budget for each fiscal year and evaluates progress towards financial goals and may be responsible for the program or department¿s purchasing card (PCard)
6. Prepares and delivers presentations and collateral for program and/or department and events
7. Coordinates and administers the collection, compilation, and analysis of program activity data, prepares comprehensive program reports and evaluation summaries
8. May coordinate, administer and monitor social media presence and program outreach
9. May supervise and/or lead assigned staff and/or students assistants
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
Required Experience
One (1) years of related work experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications
¿ Master¿s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Student Affairs Administration, Student Personnel, Counseling, Higher Education or related field
¿ Experience working in international or related programs at a college/university
¿ Experience with student activities, event coordination/planning, and student advising
¿ Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of student development and frameworks
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with program development and coordination
Previous experience in higher education
