About Us:

Established in 1982, Alzheimer’s WA provides care, support, awareness and information to assist people living with dementia, as well as their families and carers.

Our services include advocacy, education, partnerships, training, consultancy and holistic person-centred care programs, based on a philosophy of understanding the lived experiences of those living with dementia. We provide CHSP, HCP and NDIS packages and day/overnight respite in our four homes based in Perth, Mandurah and Albany.

Position Summary:

As the Program Manager, you will assume a pivotal role in shaping the future of our programs and driving our revenue growth. You and your team will be responsible for delivering projects varying in scope and complexity with different funding arrangements.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals;
  • perform gap analysis with clients and develop tailored programs and solutions;
  • lead successful client engagements from initiation to completion;
  • lead and mentor the team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities;
  • foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team;
  • contribute to the development of our programs, identifying growth opportunities, define service offerings, and establish best practices to ensure continued success;
  • oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective project planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery of deliverables;
  • monitor and report on project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies;
  • build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in the dementia space; and
  • understand clients’ evolving needs and proactively identify opportunities to add value through additional consulting services.

    Essential Criteria:

          • bachelor’s degree in dementia care or a related discipline;
          • proven experience in consulting and driving revenue growth through new business (Aged care Industry preferred);
          • demonstrated expertise in aged care with successful client engagements and project delivery;
          • strong understanding of consulting principles and practices, with expertise in areas such as strategy development, process improvement and change management;
          • excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results;
          • exceptional communication skills communications with the ability to work in collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups;
          • excellent problem-solving abilities are essential;
          • a client-centric mindset with exceptional relationship-building skills; proven ability to understand clients’ needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver exceptional service;
          • strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and drive business growth;
          • unrestricted working rights in Australia;
          • WA ‘C’ class driver’s licence;
          • NDIS Worker Screening Check;
          • COVID Vaccination (three doses).
