OzChild is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to fulfil the role of Program Manager Child Youth and Families. This critical role will lead and manage the operations of multiple programs that make a difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families in the ACT. This is a unique opportunity to drive the operational delivery of services, foster positive outcomes, and spearhead continuous improvement within our Strengthening and Prevention and Out of Home Care Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of OzChild’s Strengthening and Prevention and Out of Home Care Services, including Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare and Foster Care programs.
- Service Delivery: Ensure high-quality delivery of services that achieve positive outcomes for children, young people, and families.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement, informed by business analysis and best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the program and its team with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with OzChild’s culture and values.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Implement and uphold risk management and compliance frameworks consistent with OzChild’s policies and values.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing multiple programs within the child welfare, out-of-home care, or related sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent ability to analyse business processes and implement improvements.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- A commitment to upholding the values and vision of OzChild.

- Salary $120,000 – $126,000 plus super (depending on experience ) plus super & vehicle
