Here you’re empowered to make a difference in children’s lives by learning, sharing and collaborating to find new ways to solve problems.  In this full-time, maximum term (12 months) role, you’ll work as a part of our Global Programs team from any location in Australia* to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Program Manager, Global Programs plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children. Whether it’s managing a portfolio of development and humanitarian programs or liaising with our Business Development Unit to identify opportunities and secure funding for global programming, you’ll be contributing to our commitment to children around the world. 

You will make a difference by:

  • Ensuring the efficient and effective management of all programs in the assigned portfolio, in line with agreed plans and budgets Building relationships across the Save the Children movement and supporting engagement with key donors.
  • Ensuring donor and SCA policy compliance, throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participating in budgeting and financial management activities across the team.
  • Supporting the Business Development team to secure funding to expand the global portfolio.

  • Having grant and / contract and award management experience.
  • Having financial management experience, including management of budgets, instituting financial controls, and all aspects of grant management.
