About the Position
The HIV Program Manager position sits within the National Policy and Education Division (NPED) and reports to the Director, NPED. The position manages all components of the relevant State and Commonwealth Programs related to HIV. Key activities and areas of work include management of state relationships and contracts, high level policy input, management of deliverables within content-specific areas, maintenance of budgets, supervision of relevant staff, reporting and grant development. This is a fixed term, full-time, 12 month contract. Location is flexible.
Interested candidates must have a tertiary qualification in health, fields allied to health, education or business management with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of State and Commonwealth processes and policies. With your previous experience in the successful management of projects, budgets and financial reporting, you will be confident at establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships at an operational and strategic level. Experience in managing a team working across multiple projects, including performance management and professional development is essential.
