About the Role

Join us in this key role as IT Program Manager for the Student Services Transformation Program (SSTP), where you’ll lead a talented team across Student Learning, Business Services, and SSTP Leadership to drive innovative technical projects.

Your role is pivotal in implementing our cutting-edge SSTP technical roadmap, collaborating with key university stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of transformative initiatives that enhance the student experience.

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate prior leadership experience and likely hold a relevant postgraduate qualification with substantial experience or an equivalent combination. Project management accreditation (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, Agile) is also highly regarded.

Other knowledge and skills that will help you succeed in this role include:

  • Advanced skills in risk analysis, financial management, reporting, and project assessment.
  • Extensive commercial acumen, including vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership experience with cross-functional teams in a matrix structure.
  • Significant expertise in managing sensitive, confidential issues.
  • Proven track record as a Program Manager, Director, or Senior Project Manager in large organizations, delivering software with agile frameworks.
  • Experience managing enterprise application transformation programs with budgets exceeding $15 million.
  • Outstanding communication skills, engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting teams in adopting customer-centric approaches for product design.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams (50+ staff).
  • Deputizing and providing support for the Director.

This role requires current valid working rights for Australia.
