Job Description:Your impact:You are a talented and motivated Program Manager who can plan and lead specific activities related to the successful delivery of major satellite and terrestrial communication network services for the UK Skynet Service Delivery Wrap (SDW) program. You will guide cross-functional program activities, communicating with the customer and program partners, involved in service delivery aspects, and assuring a high quality of customer support. You will also be helping to build Intelsat’s position with the UK MoD.You will guide successful delivery of all Intelsat activities and services for the SDW program. You will engage with the prime contractor, the UK MoD customer, other program partners, subcontractors, and vendors. You will serve as a liaison between the customer and key Intelsat functional leads throughout the program lifecycle. You should be ready to take your skills to the next level.What you will do:
- Successfully deliver all UK Skynet SDW program requirements within cost, schedule, and technical constraints.
- Secure necessary resources and direct service implementation with support from Intelsat engineering, operations, facilities, and other functions.
- Provide excellent customer service through transparent and frequent communication, on-time service delivery, continuous improvement, and proactive issue resolution.
- Address systemic issues with customer networks and provide recommendations for solutions based on customer interaction.
- Proactively identify and solve problems impacting the management and direction of the SDW program.
- Perform subcontractor and vendor management where appropriate to ensure service delivery and program success.
- Participate in negotiations with customers, partners, contractors, and vendors to achieve program objectives and to ensure continuity of contractual obligations.
- Bolster Intelsat’s position with the UK MoD by keeping them informed on Intelsat products and services, uncovering new opportunities and requirements, and offering appropriate solutions.
- Support new business proposal efforts, as needed, by developing project plans, risk identification and mitigation plans, vendor cost quotes, and selected proposal content.
Your required experience/skills:
- University Degree in a STEM or business field. Equivalent knowledge gained through experience may be considered.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in project or program management.
- UK citizenship and the ability to obtain a UK Government security clearance.
- Experience successfully leading moderately complex programs and projects with cross-functional and matrixed resources.
- Demonstrated expertise planning projects, solving problems, controlling change, managing risks and resources, and anticipating potential impacts.
- Experience in program managing the delivery of satellite, telecommunications, or other technology services.
- Ability to effectively manage execution of deliverables per terms of agreed contracts.
- The ability to travel up to 20% to meet business needs.
- Proficiency in MS office suite.

It would be nice if you had:
- Active Security Check clearance.
- Certified Program Management expertise – or equivalent experience.
- Experience with agile development frameworks, (SAFe Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.), collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro) and/or quality frameworks (ITIL, ISO 9000/1).
- Fluency with MS Project, Visio, and/or similar project management software tools.
