Location: Ottawa, Canada (Hybrid Mode*)

You have:
- A Master’s or Ph.D. degree and a record of publication in a relevant social science discipline such as communication, education, knowledge translation or international development.
- Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing and speaking).
- Three (3) years of recent work experience relevant to knowledge translation, communication, and research and a proven ability developing and implementing communications and knowledge translation strategies, including selecting channels and developing key messages and content for target audiences.
- Experience acting as an intermediary between knowledge creators and users for building and maintaining partnerships and experience developing reports, policy briefs, briefing notes, events, and social media content for various audiences.
- An enhanced knowledge of education systems challenges in low-middle income countries (LMIC).

- Able to strengthen capacity among research teams in research uptake is an asset.
You are interested in:
- Leading communication and knowledge translation activities, including the development of high-quality publications that positions IDRC to visibly contribute to policy and practice for education systems at national, regional, and global levels.
- Leading and supporting cross-initiative syntheses, knowledge sharing, peer learning and documentation of impacts.
- Supporting project teams with their knowledge to policy strategies, communications, outreach to stakeholders and policy influence.
- Participating in key strategic and operational discussions and decisions on policies and procedures, systems, and human resources.
- Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.
