Program Support Specialist

Collaborate with team members to deliver Farm Bill programs to producers.

Review documentation for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proper justification of vouchers, invoices, claims, and other contract-related materials. Enter and upload program information into applicable databases and forward completed documentation to financial management staff for payment processing.

Assemble contract files in accordance with program guidelines; reconcile practice components with financial cost data; and identify and resolve discrepancies prior to payment obligation. Compile and verify supporting documentation to ensure payment requests comply with contract provisions and remain within authorized spending limits.

Track contract activity for progress and quality control, and prepare summary reports of findings. Serve as backup support for reception, mail distribution, and records management. Assist with processing forms, maintaining program files, reorganizing field office records to meet established protocols, and maintaining training, workload, and contract ledgers.
