Program Trainer is responsible for the implementation of the 12-month program training curriculum to program participants The trainer will manage a caseload of program participants according to organizational standards. The trainer is responsible for informing participants about services in the community that may benefit them and reporting on the progress of the participants as required.
The trainer will plan and deliver the social empowerment and economic empowerment training skills to Women for Women program participants. Assess the educational level and literacy of the program participants. Coordinate and Work closely with Monitoring and Evaluation team during conducting the baseline and endline with the participants program in the training center.
Engagement
Work in collaboration with the program officer or coordinator and other staff to document and report any change in program participant status.
Work in collaboration with the program officer or coordinator and replace participants in case of their absence.
Keep the Program Officer or coordinator updated on issues encountered in the field.
Work closely with MERL team to provide needed assistance in several MERL – program related tasks.
Coordinate and work with the advocacy and men’s engagement team in implementing change agent training in the WfWI training center.
Handling disclosures and referring identified cases within the Women for Women training center to service providers, in addition to updating the service map periodically.
Delivery
Prepare session plans from WfWI’s existing curriculum that are appropriate and applicable to the needs of women participants.
Preparing a list of requirements for training sessions and periodically taking inventory of the center’s materials based on the direct manager’s request.
Meet with other program trainers to share techniques, strategies, success stories, challenging cases, supplemental materials, etc.
Prepare training schedules before enrollment in collaboration with other trainers and supervisor as appropriate.
Participate in continuing education workshops as required to increase professional knowledge and capacity. Orient new participants about program rules and goals. Deliver all sessions from the WfWI’s curriculum according to an established schedule and provide feedback. Provide information to participants about other services provided by the organization such as vocational training.
Maintain direct communication with vocational trainers, in coordination with their line manager, to ensure alignment of training content, address any issues, and enhance the overall training experience, as both report to the program officer
Assist in the delivery of training stipend, as required, by following the internal procedures established by the organization.
Create saving groups, make sure all their needs are purchased ahead of time, passbooks are printed and handed out to participants.
Accompany the women into the vocational training, support them how to think about what they learn in forming a business and generating income from it by working collaboratively with the vocational trainer.
Support with business competition implementation, help the participants how to fill out the template and support those groups who are illiterate.
Provide after class consultation on how the participants can start their own business, accompany, and support them.
Create a friendly learning environment with encouraging women to start their own business.
In collaboration with other Trainers and program officer identify available services and coordinating referrals based on the wishes and consent of the women participants. , in addition to updating the service map periodically.
Support with organizing, and implementing International Women’s Day, Refugee Day, and graduation ceremony of each cohort.
Willing to travel to other part of governorates.
Record the attendance of participants at each training session and keep the training attendance records updated in a standardized format.
Follow up with vocational trainers to prepare ,track and reconcile attendance sheets, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Contact participants who do not attend sessions to determine whether they should be dismissed from the program.
prepare and document success stories about participants as required along with consent forms.
Assist participants with letter writing and support illiterate women for letter writing.
Provide monthly reports to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Conduct monthly meetings with participants to evaluate the sessions and the impact of the training, address challenges, and ensure the quality of work. Report findings and feedback to the line manager.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to WFWI programs.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
Years of experience: 1-3 years of work experience in relevant fields, preferably within INGOs sector with experience in training and/or teaching adults.
Must be knowledgeable of business practices in the local area.
Provide technical guidance to clients on starting and maintaining a small business.
Must be attuned to the situation and needs of the women in the program so as to give proper advice.
Good administrative and organizational skills.
Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with communities and participants.
Good inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team.
Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
Arabic is essential, English language skills an advantage.
