The Programme Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting various programme activities, with a primary focus on technical assistance. The responsibilities will encompass managing technical assistance programmes, maintaining documentation, assisting in data collection and management, as well as coordinating both online and offline training workshops and seminars.
In addition to these tasks, the Programme Assistant will actively contribute to research and reporting efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the information sessions, training workshops for the program participants from the selected Community based Organisations (CBOs), including scheduling, logistics and other preparations.
- Conduct data collection and maintain data from the different activities and stakeholders of the program, including attendance sheets, success stories, perspectives, needs and impact assessments.
- Conduct a follow-up with Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) to execute the activities outlined in the Community-Based Actions (CBAs), which are projects financed by the program. This follow-up includes monitoring the submission of reports, ensuring compliance with invoicing, and verifying the delivery of project deliverables, to ensure that the activities meet established standards and objectives.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing among the network CBOs and stakeholders, by documenting and disseminating best practices and lessons learned.
- Manage and distribute an all-inclusive activity calendar encompassing the eight countries of implementation, maintaining regular communication with Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) to ensure its continuous updates.
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field related to the key above-detailed responsibilities
- Minimum two years of experience in logistical, grants and administrative support
- Minimum two years of experience in organizing online and offline training workshops, events and activities
- Minimum two years of experience in community based organisations projects and technical compliance
- Minimum one year of experience in following up and monitoring community based projects and sub-grant
- Excellent written and oral Arabic and English skills
- Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint and Outlook®)
