Within the delegated authority and under the given organizational set-up, the associate may be responsible for all or most of the following areas of major duties and key end results for CFM of the Cash Implementation Unit.

How can you make a difference? 

Summary of key functions/accountabilities:

Contribute and support in the complaints and feedback mechanisms of the cash implementation unit aligned with the country office mechanisms

  • Support the design of action plan and requirements for CFM of the unit channels in coordination with relevant sections and organizations.
  • Support with drafting the CFM SOPs, annexes and technical documenation   including guidance, monitoring tools and annexes of the cash implementation unit
  • Maintain coordination with different stakeholders with updated Q&As, referral pathways ,  updated list of focal points, categorization and counseling lines
  • Ensure proper coordination with country office CFM, information management team to resolve and troubleshoot  technical issues

Planning and coordination:

  • Support with conducting a contextual needs assessment and CFM sensitization, printing and distribution of IEC materials in close coordination   with country office CFM.
  • Support with drafting regular reporting, trends analysis, TORs and action plans as per requirements.

Implementation of Complaints and Feedback mechanism SOP

  • Integration of CFM into all unit activities
  • Capacity building of all stakeholders on CFM
  • Co-manage the different channels such as the community help desks with social workers, community focal points operating the cash activities in the field
  • Handle the case management from acknowledging receipt, analysis of the case, second referral to focal points, ensuring feedback back to CO CFM, ensuring case flow is accomplished from end-to-end with case closure with country office CFM
  • Safeguard proper and lose follow-up on all cases
  • Reporting on all the CFM of CIU in coordination with country office CFM
  • Support the overall implementation of Complaints & Feedback Mechanism

Conduct field missions during the implementation of cash activities and exercises in the field.

Minimum requirements:

Education:Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.

Experience: A minimum of six years of administrative or clerical work experience is required.

Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is mandatory.

Desirables:

  • Prior experience in programme support functions and AAP/CFM is an asset.
  • Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.

Duty Station: The duty station for this position is temporarily in Port Sudan, with the expectation of relocation to Zalingei, Central Darfur.
