The position will report to the Head of DMCU or designated officer. He/she will work in close collaboration with the relevant Department Branches, as well as other relevant ILO departments and units engaged in the ILO-Korea Partnership programme.

Responsibilities

  • Provide background analysis and technical inputs to facilitate programme coordination processes.
  • Enhance the visibility of the ILO-Korea Partnership Programme by preparing communication materials such as briefing notes and updates and supporting the programme’s dedicated website. 
  • Support the organization of visibility events, donor consultations, workshops, and meetings involving Korea-funded initiatives.
  • Monitor implementation timelines and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing among involved teams and field offices.
  •  Provide technical support, including policy analysis and advice, to the Korea-funded projects
  • Engage with the ILO constituents in technical conversations in the subject areas of the Korea-funded projects
  • Assist the office in question in identifying technical challenges in designing and implementing the ILO-Korea programme
  •  Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Support internal coordination across departments implementing Korea-funded projects to    ensure synergy, avoid duplication, and strengthen joint planning and reporting.
  • Act as a point of contact for operational-level engagement with MOEL, including communications related to planning, reporting, and visibility.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated results-based reports and donor communications across projects.

Education:

First-level university degree (bachelor’s or equivalent) in public policy, government employment policy, development studies, international relations, or another relevant field.

Work Experience:

At least five years of relevant experience in government employment policy, international development, or donor-related activities or projects.

Languages:

Excellent command of English and Korean is required.
