ASED – Action and Solidarity for Education and Development – is a Swiss NGO based in Geneva. Our programmes promote a holistic approach to education so that every child and youth living in poverty can develop their full potential. We place particular emphasis on gender inequalities, conditions of marginalisation and exclusion, and situations of physical or mental disability. We support innovative educational projects designed and implemented by local specialists in education and training.

As part of the consolidation of its activities, ASED is seeking a new Programme Manager. Based in Geneva, you will develop the projects supported by the organisation through partnerships in India and Africa. Fully at ease with the technical aspects of the project cycle, you will be responsible for the funding and quality of ASED’s programmes. As the guarantor of the impact and sustainability of our partners’ projects, you will commission and oversee national coordinators, with whom you will work in close collaboration. You will undertake several field missions each year.
You will be responsible for prospecting and maintaining relationships with donors, with the support of the Executive Director. Possessing a strategic vision, ideally grounded in a solid understanding of education in a development context, you will have proven experience working with donors from the private sector. You will work effectively with the head office team and contribute to the organisation’s operational strategy.
