Elrha is a global organisation that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation. We are looking for a new Programme Officer to join our team on a 15-month maternity cover contract to start in March 2024.
This is a great opportunity to develop a broad range of skills coordinating a portfolio of research study grants including compliance, communications and events, and gain experience of supporting our highly reputable Research for Health in Humanitarian Crisis (R2HC) programme.
Are you a highly organised team player with experience of coordinating a portfolio of grants or similar? Do you have strong communication skills and enjoy building positive relationships with a diverse range of people and organisations? Are you excited about using your skills to contribute to the effective delivery of our humanitarian research programme and help our grantees to deliver their work?
Your application will need to demonstrate:
- Experience of coordinating grant management processes or similar, with a proven ability to review and analyse grantee narrative and financial expenditure reports
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of grantees and stakeholders
- Experience of providing administrative support, planning and delivering in-person and online events and webinars
- Proven writing skills with experience in preparing diverse written communications in English
- A resourceful, proactive approach with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
