Programme Quality Director-Iraq

Tearfund is seeking an experienced and passionate Programme Quality Director to join our committed Iraq team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support and enhance the quality and impact of our programmes in Iraq.

The Iraq Programme Quality Director (PQD) oversees the conceptualisation and development of programmes, and is responsible for ensuring programmatic quality in addition to the effective management of grants. The position manages a team of programme staff at the CO level and is responsible for ensuring programmatic quality standards are met, including through robust MEAL processes, capitalisation of learning and cross-cutting issues. The PQD actively engages with partners, civil society to ensure Tearfund’s views and priorities are represented. S/he plays a key role in ensuring adherence to policies and systems.
