Programming Coordinator

Join Big Gumdrop Outdoors and play a pivotal role in our educational programs. We’re looking for passionate individuals who are eager to make a difference in the lives of children by combining education with a love of the outdoors. 

The Programming Coordinator will assist in planning, coordination, and delivery of Big Gumdrop Outdoors’ educational programs while also playing an active, hands-on role in leading programming. This position helps ensure programs are well-staffed, well-prepared, and engaging for youth, while providing direct support to staff and volunteers in the field. They will regularly lead and support after school clubs, field trips, and summer programs, stepping in as needed to ensure a positive experience for participants. This role works closely with the Operations Director and Volunteer Coordinator to coordinate staffing, prepare materials, support curriculum delivery, and build strong relationships with youth, parents, and site partners.

All programs focus on environmental education, and providing opportunities to learn about nature to children in and around Lincoln. Please only apply if you are interested in the outdoors, and comfortable outside!
