Context/Reporting line:
Under the general guidance of the Senior Operations Coordinator, the overall supervision of the Programme Coordinator (Transition &Recovery), the administrative supervision of the Head of Sub Office (HoSO) and the direct supervision of the Senior Administrative Assistant- CRC, the successful incumbent will perform the following responsibilities:
Core Functions / Responsibilities
- Support children aged 3-13 years old, of caregivers attending CRCs different activities, to participate in the child corner activities.
- Assist day to day activities inside the child corner such as preparing of toys and other materials.
- Support in ensuring a safe and child-friendly atmosphere within the Child Friendly corner.
- Support in assessing that all games and equipment are accounted for and stored securely at the end of the day.
- In coordination with the Referral Focal Point and collaboration with the caregivers, assist the creation of referral linkages for children in need of other forms of support or special assistance.
- Prepare a monthly and weekly report and submit it to the CRC Senior Administrative Assistant.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the programme management.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited academic university with 1 year of relevant professional experience or;
School diploma with 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience and Skills:
- Active and available to support CRC Activities.
- Previous experience in kindergarten management is desirable.
- The person selected has a good reputation in the community due to his/her activism or past community
- CFPs are persons of different gender, age, ethnic, tribal and religious background to ensure meaningful representation and access to all community members (possibly one female and one male CFP).
Languages:
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
