We facilitate dialogue between the government and civil society, promote the role and capacity of civil society organisations to bridge the gap between societal concerns and the democratic process, strengthen social partnerships and promote civic education. &nbsp2. BACKGROUND International Alert is implementing the third phase of the “Living with Dignity” programme in Tajikistan, a programme that concentrates on preventing violence against women and girls (VAWG) in Tajikistan and allowing them to exercise their economic and decision-making rights. As part of the final year of the third phase, Alert’s representative office in Tajikistan is looking for a part-time project assistant to support delivery of the programme till its completion in March 2025. &nbsp 3. THE RESPONSIBILITIES of&nbspProject Assistant: ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Support the project manager in the implementation of activities, particularly logistics and administrative duties ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Support the project manager with any monitoring requirements with project partners ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Coordinate activities and project events ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Support quantitative and qualitative data collection from activities to feed into reporting ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Conduct regular site visits to Rushon and Hissor to work with project partners and support delivery of activities ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Liaise with community stakeholders and beneficiaries to inform project progress ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Cooperating with other CSOs in the regions ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Contribute to quarterly report drafts ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Attending meeting with other agencies and local authorities when necessary ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Work closely with the finance and grants officer and Tajikistan country director ·&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Carrying out any other duties as per the needs of the programme &nbsp-&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Core Competencies: • Safeguarding ethics and integrity • Acting as a team player and facilitating project delivery as per the workplan • Facilitating and encouraging open communication in the team, communicating effectively • Learning and sharing knowledge and encourage the learning of others &nbsp Required Skills and Experience • Bachelor's Degree • 1-2 years' experience in project management, preferably in the NGO/INGO sectors • Computer literate in Microsoft Office&nbsp • Ability to organize tasks simultaneously and prioritize work • Excellent command of Tajik and Russian languages, both oral and written communication skills • Good command of the English language • Ability to travel to Hissor and Rushon at short notice for project activities and monitoring &nbsp 5.
