Project Assistant

Position description

Youth for Exchange and Understanding seeks a full-time Project Assistant (38 hours/week) for its Secretariat in Brussels.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assist with admin tasks;
• Support project implementation;
• Organize project meetings, events;
• Compile and draft project reports;
• Manage YEU’s communication channels;
• Solve problems and implement changes.

*Tasks will be assigned based on YEU’s needs and priorities.

Qualifications

• Sociable and service-oriented in a multicultural environment;
• Understanding of youth work & NFE;
• Organisational skills;
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team;
• Flexible with schedules and priorities;
• Proficient in IT, including MS Office and collaborative platforms;
• Good communication skills, empathy, tolerance, and team spirit;
• Initiative, critical thinking, curiosity, creativity, & solution-oriented;
• Sensitive to cultural differences;
• Willingness to travel and flexible with working hours;
• Ready to live in Brussels;
• Right to live and work in Belgium.
