Description

The Project Assistant supports project teams by providing assistance with administrative and organizational tasks, ensuring work proceeds according to the specified plan.

 

The Duties:
1. Organizing meetings, arranging their dates, following up on daily tasks and ensuring their
completion according to the schedule. Collecting and analyzing the data and information necessary
to evaluate performance and understand the extent of the impact of the implemented activities on
the participants, through periodic reports and field observations.
2. Dealing with emergency changes in work, developing innovative strategies to identify problems and
find solutions to them.
3. Follow up on the coordination of activities and their implementation according to the specified
schedule.
4. Conduct periodic evaluations of team members, and follow up on the completion of the tasks
assigned to them.
5. Develop a team skills development plan to identify strengths, weaknesses and areas for
improvement.
6. Contribute to preparing a work plan, and follow up with the management in submitting activity
requests.
7. Contribute to the development of a risk management plan, identifying potential risks and developing
strategies to mitigate them.
8. Follow up with the project logistics and coordinators to determine the materials needed to
implement the activities well.
9. Follow up on communication with local authorities in the targeted areas and maintain a database for
them.
10. Follow up with the work team to save all data and reports related to the project.
11. Conducting field visits to the areas specified within the scope of the project, for the purpose of
following up on the progress of the work plan and diagnosing any problems.
12. 12. Prepare periodic reports on the project progress and submit them to the project manager.

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Required Skill:


•   Work experience of not less than three years
•    Project development and management: The ability to develop and insight to complete short-term and long-term project activities, including training.
•    Effective Communication: Good ability to communicate with team members, customers and partners to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and project directions.
•    Management: The ability to work with the team and manage solidarity, develop the skills of project staff and build their capabilities.
•    Risk management: The ability to identify and evaluate potential project risks and apply strategies to reduce them, in addition to the ability to negotiate and mediate in cases of conflict and competition between the parties involved in the project.
•    The ability to adapt to sudden changes and solve problems that may arise during project implementation, and to bear responsibility for all project results.
•    Organization: The ability to organize the project in an efficient manner, both in terms of time and cost effectiveness.
