Context

This assignment is funded by the Benue State Government of Nigeria.
Therefore, specific eligibility criteria apply:
– Only Benue state citizens resident in Nigeria are eligible to apply.
The Project Associate will support the staff of the office, particularly the Program team to assist with the planning, coordination and execution of various projects, programs and activities within the WIPO Nigeria Office.

Task description

Under the direct supervision of the Director, WIPO Nigeria Office, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks in cooperation with other staff:
a) Act as a project support officer and assist with the organization of meetings, provide updates to partners; facilitate project coordination meetings, as well as organize fol-low up with project beneficiaries;
b) Support communication activities in relation to the ongoing projects by ensuring that the website contents are kept up-to-date, communication with partners and stake-holders maintained, and a number of webinars and other publicity activities, includ-ing the development of resource materials, as required;
c) Provide administrative and project management support to the projects ongoing within the WIPO Nigeria Office;
d) Other related tasks as required.
