Context/Reporting line:

 

Under the general guidance of the Head, Transition and Recovery Division, the overall supervision of the Senior Programme Coordinator (Durable solutions and community engagement), the administrative supervision of the and Head of Sub Office (HoSO) and the direct supervision of the TRD Team Leader for East of Anbar, in close coordination with the Programme Coordinator (Transition&Recovry), this position will perform the following tasks:

 

Core Functions / Responsibilities

 

  1. Support the unit in identifying infrastructure and needs in the targeted communities through participating in the community’s assessments.
  2. Assist in Conducting joint field visits with other relevant team members as well as, community structures to assess the needs of the target communities (IDPs, returnees and host community residents). In addition, conduct an analysis of existing and planned natural and human resources in the targeted communities.
  3. Support the community service engineer in developing bi-weekly workplans and provide continuous updates regarding the status of projects per designated workload. ​Collaborate closely with the protection team to uphold guiding principles such as safety, confidentiality, respect, and non-discrimination across activities. 
  4. ​Assist the senior community engineer in setting up biweekly, monthly, and quarterly workplans with clear objectives and delivery timeline.
  5. Support the provision of bi-weekly reports related to infrastructure.
  6. Support other projects such as assessing EDF applicants’ capacity, assessing the equipment needed for cash for work activities and support in identifying skilled/unskilled workers.
  7. Perform other duties assigned by superiors.
