The UCF College of Medicine Health and Information Technology department will provide world class support services, leverage the use of technology, and establish a robust infrastructure that will advance the College’s vision to be the nation’s premier 21st century college of medicine mission, as well as be a be a national leader in education, research, and patient care.
The Opportunity:
The Project Coordinator role maintains project related meeting notes, department reports, coordinate meetings and follows up with stakeholders and vendors. Participates in daily tasks and operations related to the management of Health IT projects. This applies to all phases of the project management life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, performance and control, and closure. Services are provided to the College of Medicine and affiliated entities.
Responsibilities:

Document and disseminate meeting insights by recording and organizing key discussion points, action items, and decisions to ensure transparent communication and facilitate follow-up actions among participants.

Spearhead the orchestration of meetings to foster synergy, alignment, and productivity among stakeholders, colleagues, and resources.

Develop comprehensive outlines that delineate meeting objectives, topics, and timelines to optimize participation, decision-making, and outcomes.

Monitor and manage impacts on production facing services, ensuring transparent communications and accurate restoration expectations.

Compile and analyze data to create comprehensive reports that offer valuable insights and distributing them to relevant stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making and drive organizational effectiveness.

Lead individuals and teams through the journey of comprehending, embracing, and adjusting to organizational transformations, offering vital support, communication, and resources to ensure an accurate reporting of activities, while also nurturing a culture that encourages resilience and fosters continuous growth.

Distill complex information into clear, accessible documentation that serves as a repository of expertise and best practices, empowering users to troubleshoot, learn, and effectively utilize organizational resources and systems.

Timely completion of university and college required trainings and updates.

Contribute to the overall success of the College by performing all other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) .
Preferred Qualifications:
-
4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s and relevant experience.

Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint and ServiceNow.

Organized and able to prioritize tasks in order of critical need, with the ability to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.

Adapt well to changing policies and procedures within the organization.
-
Experience working well independently and with others.
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills to easily adapt different audiences.

Attention to detail and action orientated, with effective facilitation skills and ability to facilitate group discussions.

Reliable transportation in order to commute from main office to satellite offices located in Orlando area.

Job duties will apply to all areas of the COM, UCF Health and Burnett Biomedical Sciences.

There will be limited interaction with AHSC components and teaching hospital. The level of interaction and collaboration will change to encompass the AHSC and teaching hospital as the efforts toward establishing and building out the campus allow.
