Description of the Assignment:  

UNDP Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean (Barbados) is seeking to retain the services an Individual Consultant who will be a Victim – Offender Mediation (V-OM) Coordinator who will be responsible for: 1) Day-to day management and decision-making for the project ensuring that the project meets its obligations as per the agreed project document, serving as a stakeholder liaison, implementation of key activities and reporting. The Project Coordinator’s prime responsibility is to ensure that the project produces the results specified in the project document, to the required standard of quality and with the specified constraints of time and cost; 2) providing technical guidance and deliverables on Processes and Procedures improved for V-OM in the criminal justice system; and 3) implementing pilot project/study to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of V-OM in the criminal justice system

 

Period of assignment/services: 12 months
