We’re growing our project management team and looking for an innovative Project Manager who
is keen to engage with a wide range of partners and stakeholders to help ensure we achieve our
vision of a Wilder Derbyshire.
In this role, you’ll lead the coordination, delivery, and successful completion of a variety of
funded transformational projects across the county. Your focus will be on achieving clearly
defined project outcomes, on time and on budget. You’ll report on progress regularly to
funders, partners, our team as well as the public to showcase your projects impact. You’ll work
in an agile way across multiple workstreams, helping to secure nature’s recovery in
Derbyshire.

About you
This role might be right for you if:
- You’re a successful project manager with wide ranging knowledge of project management and
budget management systems - You have experience of managing contracts
- You feel comfortable talking to a diverse range of stakeholders with different interests,
perspectives and personalities - You’re self-aware, reflective and endlessly curious – you’re always looking for
opportunities to do things better - You love technology and are excited about the opportunity to create something new and
unexpected - You’re comfortable and adept at navigating change.
- You have a passion for nature’s recovery and community engagement.

This role will be based at our office in Middleton although we support hybrid working with home
and office working supported. We’re a local charity so applicants should be easily able to
access our office and other locations around the county.
