Project Manager

Position description

Under the supervision of the Deputy Secretary General, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating the activities for the development of the ECSO’s Invest4Cyber Community and the European Cybersecurity Investment Platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in European cybersecurity market and investments and a passion for developing unique initiatives in cybersecurity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and execution of initiatives to expand the European Investor Community in cybersecurity, fostering meaningful dialogue on investments, identifying shared opportunities, and driving joint investment strategies;
• Coordinate the ECSO contribution for the development and implementation of the ECSO’s flagship initiative European Cybersecurity Investment Platform;
• Facilitate the dialogue among market stakeholders by supporting organisation of networking events and conferences e.g. Cyber Investor Days, STARtup Award;
• Support ECSO’s activities to enable investors to engage with key decision-makers in the cybersecurity industry, bolstering their influence and understanding;
• Coordinate the development of awareness-raising campaigns to promote the cybersecurity sector as an attractive investment area;
• Collaborate with other ECSO projects requiring input from investor-oriented activities (e.g., Cyberhive marketplace);
• Assist the Community in coordinating with stakeholders, including European investors, cybersecurity companies, and government agencies;
• Prepare presentations and other materials for meetings and events, and lead the sessions;
• Help to manage and maintain the Cybersecurity European Investors Community website and social media presence;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Project Management – proven experience in managing projects including stakeholders’ management;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to a variety of audiences;
• Strong ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly and with excellent attention to details;
• Strong drive for challenges and growth;
• Experience in building and managing communities, fostering engagement, and facilitating communication among diverse stakeholders is a plus;
• Understanding of cybersecurity market issues and trends is a plus;
• Excellent research and analytical skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Fluency in English is required.
