This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in planning projects from concept to delivery, budget controls and developing new systems.A FTSE 250 company, XPS combines expertise and insight with advanced technology and analytics to address the needs of over 1,400 pension schemes and their sponsoring employers on an ongoing and project basis. We undertake pensions administration for over one million members and provide advisory services to schemes and corporate sponsors in respect of schemes of all sizes, including 88 with assets over £1bn. Our services include scheme administration, first-time outsourcing, member communications and scam protection.Learn more here:The RoleAs a Project Manager with XPS you will:
- Provide high level project documents such as project plans and present our project management approach to prospective clients during the tender process.
- Be responsible for the successful completion of a project and ensure all the work streams are completed by the agreed go live date.
- Setup and maintain project documents, and be responsible for the setup and attendance of regular internal and external calls.
- Support existing clients by providing project management for ad-hoc projects that may arise.
- Manage business change projects, developing new systems and enhancing existing systems.
- Liaise directly with third party system developers to ensure the project remains on track.
Your profileEssential Criteria
- Proven experiences in project management, from concept to implementation ideally gained from financial services or similar industry.
- Qualified Prince2/ similar or qualified by experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of pensions would be beneficial.
- Excellent presentation skills.
