JOB SUMMARY:
Manage the USDA/NRCS Climate-Smart grant in CAFLS and serve as the primary contact person for project activities. Communicate reporting requirements to project teams and compile information for sponsor requirements and reporting. Track all project activities for detailed quarterly reports. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
- 25% – Essential – Monitor and track all project activities from Clemson personnel and all project partners. Assist with managing the project budget and responsible for continuous internal auditing.
- 25% – Essential – Manage and supervise the project coordination team. Provide feedback and guidance on coordinator activities and their professional development.
- 25% – Essential – Maintain and compile information and project-generated data to submit detailed quarterly reports required by the project sponsor.
- 25% – Essential – Respond to information requirements and follow-up requests about enrollment, research and other project activities. Attend required NRCS meetings. Serve as the primary point of contact for the project.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education – Bachelor’s Degree – Relevant program experience.
- Work Experience 2+ years – exceptional leadership skills, time management, organizational skills, and data management.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Education – Master’s Degree – Agriculture, Ecology, Climate, Data Management or related field
- Education – Doctoral / Professional Degree – Agriculture, Ecology, Climate, Data Management or related field
- Certifications – Project Management Professional

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages Work of Others – Manages work of others including hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff. Plans organizational structure and job content.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops Department Budgets – Responsible for developing one or more departmental budget(s). Estimated amount of budgetary responsibility in dollar amount must be added.

Standard Hours: 37.5; Expected Salary Range ($89,700 – $100,000)
