Start Date: ASAPProject Manager Role OverviewYou have the chance to work for a multinational cloud communications provider, with services in over 60 countries through its world-leading cloud-based, omni-channel contact centre solution.As our client rapidly expands operations, they are looking to appoint an established Project Manager to join their successful team in the Berkshire. In this position, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and implementing a fast-paced, cost effective and customer-oriented delivery experience to a high level of customer satisfaction.Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Initiate projects in alignment with current project management methodologies, establishing the necessary level of documentation and control for each project.
- Ensure projects are completed within the set tolerances for time, cost, and quality.
- Maintain high standards for all project documentation, ensuring deliverables meet customer expectations for performance and quality.
- Develop and implement a test plan that meets customer requirements.
- Manage virtual project teams as necessary to achieve project objectives.
- Establish a single point of contact for the customer for the duration of the project, agreeing on escalation paths for all stakeholders.
- Manage customer communications throughout the project lifecycle to ensure high customer satisfaction and regular contact between virtual teams across the business.
- Contribute to bids and tenders, providing project management input to presales support activities, including documentation and customer presentations.
- Manage project costs to maintain sales margins and track and recover any additional costs where possible.
- Generate accurate forecasts for in-house planning and budgeting as required.
- Maintain financial control throughout the project lifecycle, delivering against an agreed project revenue plan.
- Agree on billing plans for customers in collaboration with account management and billing teams.
- Ensure key milestones are met before progressing to subsequent delivery stages.
- Implement appropriate project controls during the initial project initiation stage, including risk and issue logs and change control methods as per internal processes.
- Keep internal systems and reporting tools updated to reflect the current state of the project.
- Conduct project debriefs to identify, review, and propose improvements that will benefit the project management team, the wider business, and customers.
Project Manager Key Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
- Extensive experience in project management or delivering projects to within the technology sectors.
- Experience within Telecommunications, particularly Contact Center (CCaaS) is beneficial.
- Proven experience of consistently achieving and surpassing customer expectations.
- Demonstrated capability to successfully manage projects from inception to completion and adhere to deadlines
- Experience in working with the software development lifecycle, cloud platforms and/or the development of hardware and software.
- Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
