We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join us delivering high-profile manufacturing facilities for market leading global clients.As part of our Programme and Project Management team, you’ll lead a wide range of projects from high profile to small and impactful, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget. Your expertise in planning, management and performance will drive growth and smarter working.We work with our clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive, as ultimately these facilities impact on the quality of people’s lives. We deliver as part of a collaborative mutli-discipline team to amaze our clients.Role accountabilities:In this role, you’ll lead our delivery of professional Project Management services to multi-national and UK clients, working on large industrial buildings, manufacturing facilities and gigafactories centres across the UK and Europe.You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects from inception through to completion. Our commissions also include full design so you would be collaborating with an internal multi-discipline team of Arcadians. Day-to-day activities include managing the procurement and tender process, reviewing and agreeing contractor proposals, coordinating the multi-disciplinary team pre-contract and post contract on site, stakeholder and risk management, leading on budget and change management and creating and maintaining a collaborative team environment.You’ll be supported to develop your career within a collaborative team environment, and you’ll have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team who are passionate about delivery an excellent service and positive outcomes for our clients.Qualifications & Experience:First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life. You pride yourself for the part you play in transforming the world around you and understand the importance of teamwork. You are a technically capable and come to us with:
- Previous experience working in a similar Project Manager, Employers Agent or Owner’s Representative role
- Experience working in a consultancy environment is desirable
- Experience working on complex construction projects, preferably with manufacturing clients or within other heavy MEP sectors such as health, aviation, pharmaceuticals or data centres
- Construction contract knowledge
- Experience leading teams
- Ideally you will be chartered but not essential
- An interest in embracing digital delivery
