This role will involve supporting the community in developing a Local Justice Strategy. You will work in partnership with CYI and the Pama Futures team to ideate and implement preventative programs to reduce justice system contact, especially among youth.

This exciting opportunity will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of the project within the funding requirements.

You will establish and maintain partnerships with community-controlled organisations, government departments, non-profits, research bodies, and local agencies.

You will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research, including surveys, data analysis, and database creation.
Convene and build the capacity of local community and governance groups to support ongoing workshops and develop engagement strategies and communication materials to increase community involvement.

You will have significant experience working with First Nations communities or culturally diverse communities, understanding their historical and contemporary challenges.

If you hold a relevant tertiary qualification (preferably a Master’s or higher) in justice, social science, community development, or related fields and have proven experience in project management, leadership, and complex project implementation. Along with proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, data analysis, and Indigenous data sovereignty we would love to hear from you.
