About LiverWELL
LiverWELL is a not-for-profit community-based organisation and for over 30 years we have been working to eliminate viral hepatitis in Victoria. Our ambitious new long-term strategy builds on this critical work and broadens our scope to improve liver health outcomes for all Australians. With increasing mortality and morbidity rates, liver cancer is the fastest growing cause of cancer death in Australia. The condition is poorly understood, and many people do not receive a diagnosis until it is too late. But if diagnosed early, liver disease is curable, and cancer can be prevented.
About you
As Project Manager, Liver Health you will play a key role in supporting the successful implementation of our liver health strategy. This role provides an outstanding opportunity for a strategic thinker who equally enjoys contributing hands on delivery expertise. You will enjoy developing and managing clear, comprehensive project plans, and helping to bring them to life by successfully engaging and mobilising diverse stakeholders.
You will contribute ideas and innovations as well as outstanding organisational ability. Comfortable with navigating complex systems, you will help to define and plan the activities and pathways to best deliver outcomes.
The role will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Strategy Committee to detail and deliver plans to deliver the strategic outcomes identified in LiverWELL’s long term strategy.
LiverWELL is committed to employing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, persons with lived experience of viral hepatitis and liver disease, and those who come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Persons from these communities are encouraged to apply.
LiverWELL offers an enjoyable and flexible team working environment in North Melbourne, with flexibility to work remotely, ongoing professional development and excellent conditions including salary packaging and benefits.
