To learn more about our purpose, culture, and priorities, visit ourWithin our construct business, we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.The project: Working on refurbishment of passenger areas, works to improve security compliance processes within terminals, MEP refurbishment and projects to extend the serviceability lifespan of existing buildings.Our values shape the way we construct and define the people we want to join us on our journey, they are:Safety first – Going home safe and wellClient focus – Deliver on our promiseIntegrity – Always do the right thingCreate opportunity – For our people to excelTo oversee and take accountability of all project related MEP services issues to include:You’ll be responsible for:Tendering and procurement of the MEP packagesManagement of all aspects of the MEP subcontractors works from tender stage through to project completion.Management of all elements of specialist packages i.e. lift installation, Fire Alarm, BMS etc.Planning of the works including design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover phases in line with Mace proceduresCommercial management – execution of the MEP subcontractors contract, management of the variation account or input as required for the project surveyor to achieve the sameEnsuring that Mace MEP procedures are fully implemented on each projectUndertaking monthly project audits in line with Mace proceduresMonitoring the works and undertake regular subcontractors progress meetingsUndertaking any safety training as required to fulfil the job role and carry out site dutiesWorking with the MEP director as necessary to assist in the development of procedures and best practices both internally and with our MEP supply chainEnsuring that works are undertaken in a safe manor in line with company practice, current legislation and good practices, review method statements and risk assessments and undertake regular site safety observations.You’ll need to have:Good engineering knowledge of mechanical, electrical, BMS & public health systems supported by qualifications.Commercial awarenessPlanning skillsMEP systems commissioning knowledgeTendering and procurementEngineering of plant and equipmentDesign coordinationStandard forms of contractGood presentation skillsHNC in building services engineeringDegree in building services engineeringThe applicant may be biased to a particular discipline, i.e. mechanical or electricalMinimum 5 Day SMSTS course and appropriate CSCS skill cardMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
