The Opportunity
Join our dynamic team as a Project Officer (Buildings) and be a crucial player in advancing our core programs within the Cities System team. In this role, you will be at a key support of projects dedicated to shaping evidence-based policies and insights, actively engaging with key decision-makers to ensure the resilience and sustainability of Australian buildings. In pursuit of a net-zero emissions future, and your contribution will be pivotal in navigating the evolving landscape of building policies and finance to achieve this goal.
Your responsibilities include coordinating and delivering projects, conducting research activities, and contributing to knowledge translation for diverse audiences. Collaborating within a project team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless coordination and delivery across various workstreams. Your proactive engagement with stakeholders, including government, industry, research, and civil society, will contribute to building and maintaining valuable relationships that drive positive policy change.
About you
As a Project Officer, you will leverage your expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and research and analysis.
We are seeking candidates with a relevant degree or extensive experience in a related field, complemented by intermediate project management skills, advanced computer literacy, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
