Communities for Children (CfC) is a place-based initiative that facilitates early intervention and prevention activities, builds community and sector capacity, and strengthens service connections and systems in order to improve outcomes for children and their families. We are seeking an experienced Project Officer, Communities For Children to join our family.
Reporting to the Project Manager, Communities for Children and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will make a difference in community through utilising technical and stakeholder engagement skills.
About our role
You will be responsible for:
- Project administration: project support, record keeping, data management, planning support
- Data coordination and reporting: support strategic planning, support community partners, collate and input data
- Community Liaising: build relationships, networking, support and participate in community events, organise meetings
- Communities for Children – Facilitating Partner (CfC – FP) support: promote Katherine Region CfC FP
About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Social Science, Humanities or equivalent work experience
- Full current Drivers Licence or can obtain one upon commencement
- Knowledge of Katherine and the Big Rivers Region
- Can work flexibly in a changing environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook) and the using web browsers
- Have or willing to get Ochre Card and National Police Check
