  • Exciting opportunity to use your stakeholder engagement and project management skills to assist in the delivery of data, systems and analytic services across local and national mental health programs managed by NWMPHN
  • Full Time, Maximum Term role until 4 February 2025
  • Base Remuneration starting at $70K + super + salary packaging
  • Generous NFP salary packaging options up to $18,550
  • Docklands office location with option to work some days at home

The Project Officer, Data Systems and Analytics will work to support the data, systems and analytics services delivered locally, statewide and nationally by North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN). With a key focus on ensuring services are delivered on time and to scope, this position supports coordinated collaboration with a range of internal providers and external stakeholders.

We are North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN), Victoria’s largest independent, locally governed and run, not-for-profit PHN, dedicated to improving primary health care in our community.

What are PHNs?

PHNs have been established with two key objectives:

  • increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of services for community members, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes
  • improving coordination of care to ensure people receive the right care in the right place, at the right time

A typical week may include:

  • Support the Service Delivery Manager and the Data, Systems and Analytics team’s workplan, including coordinating meetings and the inputs and actions, tracking outcomes and notifying stakeholders
  • Action feedback from internal and external stakeholders, liaising with stakeholders to understand their requirements and support their needs while coordinating with NWMPHN Data, Systems and Analytics team to initiate and track requested changes/developments to existing systems and services
  • Prepare material required for status reporting to various internal PHN and external groups, working closely with the NWMPHN Data, Systems and Analytics team as required
  • Set up and maintaining national advisory groups comprising of key stakeholders/groups nationally, to inform proposed system and reporting developments

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Tertiary qualification in health, social sciences, or related studies and/or relevant ‘on the job’/ professional skills and expertise
  • Experience working with data and/or in a data orientated environment
  • Project management experience including managing project deliverables and outcomes in line with the project plan
  • Experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to write reports and prepare external correspondence
