ChargeUp Europe is the voice of the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure industry. Our growing membership is committed to delivering a seamless charging experience for EV drivers, incentivising investment and creating a consumer-centric, open market model for charging infrastructure in Europe. ChargeUp Europe’s mission is to push for an infrastructure roll-out that starts from the consumer needs, makes EV driving convenient across borders and so strives for an open-market model supported by open standards and protocols, removing market barriers related to concessions, grids, data sharing or building codes.
The EV charging infrastructure industry is at the forefront of the twin green and digital transitions. It is an innovative, fast-evolving, dynamic sector. Investments into charging Infrastructure will grow from €5 billion in 2021 to over €15 billion in 2030, with an expected growth of the workforce by +270 % by 2030.
Function
ChargeUp Europe is looking for a driven, organised professional to join its dynamic secretariat as Project Officer for ChargeUp Europe’s flagship “State of the Industry” report.
The role in a nutshell:
The Project Officer will manage the production of the fourth (2027) edition of ChargeUp Europe’s flagship “State of the Industry” report.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the full production process and delivery of the 2027 State of the Industry report from planning through publication;
- Monitor the project timeline and ensure milestones are met to meet delivery on time;
- Work with the report’s external research partner (EY Parthenon), and ChargeUp Europe members, to analyse data and edit the report;
- Coordinate and edit input from the members (e.g. case studies), including with ChargeUp Europe’s Data Review Task Force and Communications Committee;
- Organise meetings and review sessions as part of the editing and validation process;
- Coordinate with the graphic designer on layout and publication;
- Proofread, fact-check and ensure consistency of the report.
Candidate profile
Our ideal candidate would combine:
- 1–3 years of project management or research experience;
- Strong project management skills;
- Excellent organisational ability;
- High attention to detail;
- Native or near-native English;
- Experience in e-mobility or a related sector (preferred but not required);
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
- Familiarity with project management tools (an advantage).
