About the role
As our Project Officer, Quality and Compliance, you will play a critical role in support our upcoming Organisation for Standardisation Standards (ISO) 27001 certifications as well as contribute to and maintaining our quality management systems through established processes.
This newly established position will lead the ISO27001 implementation project with support from a small team of subject matter experts.
This position will also coordinate and contribute to the internal audit program and maintain CHN’s quality management systems.
About the team
The Project Officer, Quality and Compliance works within the Corporate Operations Team, which supports the organisation by delivering a range of key functional services including office coordination, human resources management, risk management, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), Information Technologies services, internal audit programs and continuous quality improvement.

The primary purpose of this position is to support the processes, frameworks, education and development of policy, procedures and processes to obtain ISO27001 certification.
You will work closely with like-minded professionals to continuously evaluate and enhance our quality management and risk system.
Applying your strong business process management skills, you will contribute to internal audit programs, coordinate and participate in risk management activities, and play a key role in continuous improvement across a range of compliance areas.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to interpret policy, legislation or standards (such as ISO) and understand their application with an ability to build processes to meet the requirements. Demonstrated project leadership with strong communication skills and ability to implement and deliver education on processes and change will be critical.

Work location
This position is based in our Deakin office. We support flexibility and a hybrid work model at Capital Health Network (CHN) and are happy to work with the successful candidate to ensure balance between work and life.

- Salary: $87,253 – $94,214 plus superannuation.
- Employment type: Full time, or part time will be considered.
- Term: Fixed Term contract, 30 June 2025.
