Since 1998, Wahana Visi Indonesia has carried out various community development programs focusing on children. Hundred thousands of children in Indonesia have been benefited from WVI’s accompaniment program. Wahana Visi Indonesia is a trusted partner of World Vision International.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Officer will facilitate project implementation in the field, including overseeing the local partner or PJI to be hired as part of the local community strengthening strategy. S/he will report to the Project (Regency) Coordinator.

 

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience at least 2-3 years of experience in project management, community development, or a related field, preferably with experience in health or nutrition projects.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of stunting and its determinants, as well as public health and community development principles.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language: Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English. Knowledge of local languages in Papua is an asset.
  • Willingness to be based in Asmat, Papua and travel to remote areas as required.
