Project Officer (Ventures Management)

Cyber Research Programme Office (CRPO) s looking for a candidate to join them as a Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting a top venture building program through reviewing venture opportunities and leading conversations with founders and academics

• Source and assess early-stage startups, being part of the grant decision making processes and the end-to-end deal cycle

• Work closely with the CRPO portfolio startups to strategize, build and scale, including managing funding rounds to later stages

• Liaise with multiple stakeholders, such as industry strategics and global investor networks to drive frontier conversations in the industry

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in business administration, accounting, or finance, with 2 -3 years of working experience in a startup environment

• Strong financial analysis including experience in assessing and modelling valuations for early-stage innovative cybersecurity companies

• Resourcefulness and communication skills to work with stakeholders in ensuring smooth running of programs and operations

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners in both the private and public sectors
