The role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project & Program Support Officer to join a growing organisation that is fast paced and client focused. This role requires an enthusiastic person who is passionate about health and/or social services, who has strong project coordination and/or management experience, including administration and stakeholder engagement skills. Importantly, you’ll need a desire to grow and learn in a busy and broad service delivery environment.

The Project & Program Support Officer role will focus on providing a high-level program development and project support function to the Redkite Services team in its mission to support children with cancer and their families.

This role will work within the Services Team and in this role the successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to further develop their project management skills.

Your ability to work autonomously, whilst working closely with other members of the team is integral to this role, as are your strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

About you:

The position is ideal for someone who has had some experience in project and/or program coordination and change management.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • General administrative experience and strong digital skills.
  • Experience with CRM databases and digital projects would be preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating or managing project work.
  • Strong time management, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to foster and maintain respectful, professional relationships with health professionals, team members, stakeholders, organisations and consumer/clients.
  • Ability to produce work of a high quality within established timeframes with minimal supervision and show initiative in tasks.
  • Excellent written skills including demonstrated ability to write quickly, accurately and succinctly.
  • Capacity to work both autonomously and as part of a team to drive the outcomes of our projects.
