Result of Service
The Protection Assistant will support the protection team in organizing workshops, meetings, and procurement activities. The primary focus will be to ensure smooth logistical arrangements and assist in the implementation of protection-related initiatives.

Expected duration
• The duration of the consultancy is 8 months (1 Dec 2024 to 31 July 2025). • The consultant will be remunerated based on the satisfactory deliverables of the agreed activities. • The consultant will be paid the lump sum of $8,800.00 ($1,100.00 per month), split into eight instalments as described above upon satisfactory submission of the deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities
Workshop and Meeting Support: • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing workshops and meetings related to protection. • Prepare agendas, participant lists, and meeting materials. • Facilitate communication with participants and stakeholders. • Take notes and summarize key discussions and action points during meetings. Workshop and Meeting Support: • Monthly Reports: Provide a monthly report outlining activities, challenges, and outcomes related to workshops, meetings, and procurement. • Workshop Materials: Prepare and distribute workshop materials and documentation as required. • Procurement Tracking: Maintain a procurement tracking document detailing requests, orders, and deliveries. Procurement: • Support the procurement process for materials and services required for the Division and meetings. • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and manage orders. • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services needed for activities. • Maintain a procurement tracking document detailing requests, orders, and deliveries. General Activities: • Provide any administrative support to the Protection Division. • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor work.
Qualifications/special skills
• A university degree from a recognised university-level academic institution, preferably in Business Administration or a related field. • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in human resources, administration and /or office management. • Strong organizational and communication skills
Languages
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
