Facilitator at SAD-Tikrit and Balad

Job description:

The project facilitator will support implement project activities, document lessons learnt, support assessments and monitoring and evaluation of the project. He/she will Collaborate with the team to monitor progress, contribute to reports, and implement Protection sessions. Crucial role in promoting mental well-being in communities. is responsible for assisting assessment, response analysis, design and capacity building of the project at SAD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the project Coordinator and the Team leader Team:

Conducting psychosocial support activities for children/men/women.
In close coordination with the field team, assess psychological needs and protection issues.
Participate in various forms of community assessments to identify individuals with fears or at risk, as requested by the project manager.
With the support and guidance of the direct supervisor, provide individual, family, and community-level psychosocial and social support services.
Ensure close follow-up for participants in identifying accomplishments and obstacles faced by individuals and/or caregivers in the rehabilitation process.
Contribute to daily and weekly reports (qualitative and quantitative) of activities by filling in specific tools (assessment form, follow-up form, referral form, discharge forms, and monitoring forms) provided by the field coordinator. Submit any other reports requested by the direct supervisor.
Conduct effective education programs in coordination with the team leader.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

University degree or equivalent in Education, Social Science, Social Work, Psychology, or related fields
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.
Experience working in emergency settings is preferable.
Good knowledge and understanding of DO NO HARM principles and established international child protection standards.
Experience working with Schools, IDPs, refugees and other vulnerable populations.
Previous experience directly providing services to children/Adults.
