Job Title: PSVU Analyst – HC619169Location: SHQ EastleighSalary: SO1, £35,526 – £37,692 per annumHours: 37 hours per weekContract: PermanentClosing Date: Sunday 24th November 2024 at 23.59 hoursDo you have a professional curiosity and want to play an integral part in ensuring that the public have confidence in the integrity of the people working for Hampshire and IOW Constabulary?We are looking for people to join our small but expanding team of Vetting Staff who assess whether people applying for posts, or those currently employed by the Force are susceptible to corruption, might do significant harm to the organisation thereby bringing it into disrepute, or pose a threat to the safety and security of the public.Although the role title is PSVU Analyst this is not a data analysis role, the role involves carrying out all vetting checks and assessing the suitability of the individual to hold the level of clearance applied for.If this interests you and you would like to know more please see the .Essential QualificationsEducated to (2 passes plus a minimum QCF level 2 in English) OR work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable levelEssential Experience

  • Proven experience working in a busy office environment undertaking duties involving meticulous attention to detail and accurately recording data
  • Competent use of standard Microsoft Office software such as Word and Excel
  • Maintaining/administrating/ analysing complex manual and electronic databases
  • Prioritising workloads against competing demands and meeting challenging deadlines.
