ABOUT THE POSITION
An exciting 12 to 36-month fixed term opportunity available for experienced Psychologists OR Provisional Psychologists, with an opportunity to transition into a permanent employment after the end of the fixed term contract in one of our locations (Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth).
You will be a part of a specialist project group undertaking educational assessment, eligibility for special schools assessment (incl. cognitive and functional assessment), review of existing assessment reports, and consultation with educators in the Northern Territory.
This position will be based in Darwin and will involve regular travel to regional and remote locations across the Northern Territory.

CRITERIA
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology and AHPRA registration / eligibility for AHPRA registration;
- Interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and / or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
- Interest in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations;
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills;
- Capacity to work independently and autonomously;
- Willingness to travel to regional / remote locations on regular basis.
Due to the nature of our business, it is required that our staff:
- have a current Driver’s Licence;
- have a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to attain these checks.
- are willing to adhere to the Government requirements regarding vaccinations for workers in certain sectors.
