Child Protection

• Providing psychological support to children in juvenile detention
• In coordination with the Child Protection Officer, meet with Case Workers on a daily basis to advise on cases requiring psychological care
• Provide psychological support for children in need and the children with disability
• Provide positive parenting sessions, in cases of reported child abuse (i.e. corporal punishment, neglect and/or emotional abuse)
• Refer cases of children requiring case management to the CP Officer
• Conduct service mapping of available MHPSS services and familiarize Case Workers with the services
• Work in coordination with PSS workers
• Attend technical workshops and trainings related to MHPSS
• Assisting in the creation of any kind of project material, both technical and informational,

• Degree in psychology
• Relevant training in child protection and PTSD
• At least 2 years of experience in working with children as psychologist
• Previous experience with NGOs
• Previous experience with Refugees/IDPs children
• Knowledge of case management
• Fluent in Arabic, englishis an asset
• Experience with children with disability
