Position Summary:  The Public Relations Officer (PRO) at Business Avenue is responsible for creating and executing effective communication strategies, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and representing the company at various events to enhance its visibility and reputation. The Public Relations Officer at Business Avenue plays a crucial role in shaping the public image and communication strategies of Business Avenue, ensuring a positive and professional representation in all interactions.

Task and Responsibilities:

  1. Relationship Management:
  • Build strong relationships with contracted companies, agencies, banks, governmental institutions, targeted audiences, influencers, content creators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with external parties and potential partners through meetings, phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Plan and execute company events, including entertainment and gathering events.
    • Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and attendees to ensure the success of these events.
    • Represent the institution at community events, industry conferences, and networking opportunities.
    • Prepare and manage the company events calendar.
  • Content and Communication:
    • Oversee the creation of content for the company’s website, blog, and social media platforms.
    • Respond to public inquiries, complaints, and social media messages, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
    • Draft sponsorship lease agreements with clients based on company goals.
    • Work closely with marketing and design teams to develop branding materials that reflect the unique aspects of the shared workspace environment.
    • Update necessary information and photos for company visibility materials, including brochures, company profiles, and offers.
  • Internal Communication:
    • Foster effective communication within the institution to promote a positive culture among employees and members.
    • Work with the Administration Officer as needed to ensure smooth internal operations.
  • Public Representation:
    • Act as the company representative in press, social media, and public events.
    • Play a key role in physical presence marketing and negotiations.
    • Present offers and represent the company in external meetings.
  • Crisis Management:
    • Handle crisis communications, dealing with negative information about the company, and aiming to protect its reputation.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare regular reports for senior management on PR activities, media coverage, and member feedback.
    • Archive documents and upload them to the company cloud.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Coordinate and organize field visits to potential targeted companies and partners.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in public relations, suggesting innovative strategies to enhance the organization’s reputation.
