1. Background
As a part of the DELIVER in health project in Iraq to promote Durable Endeavors and Local Initiatives for Vulnerable Communities’ Empowerment and Resilience in Health, PUI will provide technical capacity building to their local partner Hope Makers Organization for Women. The training will focus on building the technical capacity of the HMOW staff in technical themes that are relevant to the areas of intervention of HMOW and to their capacity needs
The training will specifically focus on:
Parenting Skills (ToT): Providing caregivers with the tools and techniques to support their children’s development and autonomy. The sessions aim to enhance communication, strengthen emotional bonds, and implement effective safety plans that ensure the well-being of adolescents. Based on the IRC curriculum for parenting skills programme, the training will cover all modules included in the guidebook and cover the facilitation of these modules.
