Are you an experienced QHSE professional looking for a hands-on leadership role where you can truly make an impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company operating across two sites in Kent and Essex, driving best practices in Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental management.The RoleAs the QHSE Manager, you will be the driving force behind ensuring compliance, improving processes, and fostering a culture of safety and quality across the business. This is a varied and influential role that requires a proactive approach, strong leadership, and a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities:

• Lead risk assessments, audits, accident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Oversee fire safety, emergency procedures, and daily H&S standards.
• Maintain ISO9001 & ISO14001 quality systems and manage internal/external audits.
• Monitor quality performance, implement improvements, and resolve NCRs.
• Manage environmental compliance, including embodied carbon initiatives.
• Drive QHSE policies, mentor a quality team member, and lead key meetings.
• Be hands-on-able to inspect products and read technical drawings.

Requirements:

• Proven QHSE experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 & ISO14001.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail.
